July 2022 Alternative Performance
July's alternative investments performance numbers are now available. The alternatives investments currently used with my client's portfolios continued to perform positively. Another month of consistent performance in the private REIT space and a strong come back month for private credit. The following performance is through the end of July.

For reference, as of August 24th the S&P is -13.1%, the NASDQ is -20.5%, and the AGG(Bond Index) is -10.21% year to date. The S&P and NASDQ have come off their lows, but the AGG was down over the last month. But these alts have still out paced them by quite a bit on the year.
